MEET OUR FOUNDERS
SHANNON “THE CANNON” HUDSON
Shannon “The Cannon” Hudson is the proud CEO of Striking Brands, the parent company of 9Round Kickboxing Fitness and I Love Kickboxing. At an early age, Hudson trained in martial arts and went on to become an IKF Light Middleweight Kickboxing World Champion.
He also co-founded the 9Round brand with his wife, Heather “The Hero,” in 2008. Today, Hudson continues to be driven by his passion for what he calls “the two most noble causes”—creating business opportunities and jobs in local communities through franchising and positively impacting people’s health and fitness through local studios.
HEATHER “THE HERO” HUDSON
Growing up with limited resources, Heather “The Hero” Hudson learned the value of hard work and perseverance early on. A self-made success, she co-founded 9Round, the world’s largest kickboxing franchise, in 2008. She currently serves as COO of Striking Brands.
Now, she is dedicated to paying it forward by inspiring and encouraging others with similar dreams through public speaking and volunteering her time to mentor new entrepreneurs. Heather’s speaking engagements cover topics such as empowerment, mental health and wellness, entrepreneurialism, and living a life congruent with your values. She excels in guiding others to elevate their personal and professional lives, build confidence, and nurture their passions.
